Her appearance was on two episodes of Showtime's Weeds with Mary Louise Parker. The actress is known for being Judy Kramer on Fox's 2005 Point Pleasant series and Marcy in Dawson's creek. On the Guiding Light soap production, Dollar portrayed Marina Cooper. This role was a winner of an award by Soap Opera Digest in 2003 as Outstanding Newcomer. From 2007 to 2008 Dollar starred as Cindy Thomas on the ABC television show Women's Murder Club. Dollar was on the show as Happy Valley, a pilot for NBC in 2012. It was not chosen for a second season.
